Victoria Boyko
KRDT Instructor and Choreographer

Beginning her teaching career for KRDT in 2007,  Victoria has taught classes for students of all ages and levels, and has also taught advanced classes for Dancers’ Studio. While living in Minnesota, Victoria taught intermediate and advanced ballet and modern dance classes for Allegro School of Dance and Music. During that time, she completed the Level One Teacher Training under Lisa Howell with Perfect Form Physiotherapy.

Victoria began training in dance at the age of 10 under Sue Champion and Nancy Durall with Kentucky Repertory Dance Theatre.   Over the years, she has received training from Elvira Dale (Perm Ballet Academy, Donetsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater), Stephanie Pevec (University of KY dance instructor), Adalhi Corn (Bluegrass Youth Ballet founder and director), Alecia Fields (BalletMet), Ivy Canapa (former Ballet Magnificat! Company Member), and Laurie Fields (Dancer’s Studio founder and director) whom she currently trains under.   

Her formal training includes classical ballet and various styles of modern, although she has had the opportunity to take classes in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and improvisation. Victoria has also had the privilege to take classes under Steve Rooks (Martha Graham School, The Ailey School), Caleb Mitchell (Belhaven University Assistant Professor of Dance), Kathy Thibodeaux (Founder and Director of Ballet Magnificat), Jiri Sebastian Voborsky (Omega Co. Artistic Director, Ballet Magnificat), Randall Flinn (Founder and Director of Ad Deum Dance Company), Kenneth Tolle (Hosanna Sacred Arts Founder and Director), Durell Comedy (Limon Dance Company, Mark Morris Dance Group) and Robin Conrad Sturm (Asaph Dance Ensemble Founder and Director).  

She danced with the Faith Covenant Church worship dance team under the direction of Nancy Durall. She has attended summer intensive training at Ballet Magnificat! and Hosanna Sacred Arts.

Victoria has taught  Bible study in her home and coached Bible Quiz team. She has been one of the choreographers for the First Assembly musicals, Elijah and Elisha, and the primary choreographer for PROJECT HOPE, A Cry For Freedom, a contemporary ballet, in the summer of 2011. She attends Destiny Community Church with her husband Jeffrey.
